Hi, I’m Eric, founder of EK Terrariums & Paludariums.
This business was born during one of the hardest times in my life — and has grown into something truly rewarding.
In 2021, after losing my job as a sales manager and undergoing major back surgery, I needed a new path. While recovering, I returned to a favorite hobby: building a large living terrarium for my pet panther chameleon.
My wife, Sandy, inspired the idea that changed everything.
I started small — setting up tables outside the Berlin Farmers Market to test the idea. The response was incredible, and soon after, we opened our own indoor storefront inside the market, where we continue to grow and expand today.
